i can never forget the summer in ----. i went through an extremity of despair due to my failure in the national college entrance examination. it seemed that my dream of being a university student would never come true. one evening my father came and told me the story of steven callahan, who was crossing the atlantic alone in his sailboat when it struck something and sank. it was a miracle that he survived and was found 76 days later(the longest anyone has survived a shipwreck on a life raft alone)。 later in his narrative he wrote these sentences “i tell myself i can handle it 。compared to what others have been through i’m fortunate”。

frankly speaking, at first i had some difficulty following the teachers. however, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers’ guidance, i made remarkable progress. now i’ve benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.

learning is a long process; i’ll keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. this summer i got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. a publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation and revision.

at the beginning i was belittled by my colleagues. but they were really surprised when i translated seven english articles over 5,000 words on only one day. gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. in their opinion i turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.

我参与竞争的原因主要有以下三个方面：我具备担任教务处主任助理的必备素质，工作能力和独特优势。

1．吃苦耐劳，默默无闻的敬业精神

1．工作经历：班主任工作通关（高三两年），三次高三教学，三年教科科室副主任。

特别是在年，我带高三（11），三（12）两个班的英语课，三（12）班班主任，同时，主要负责教科室工作（时任教科室主任的周德富老师因病请假一年）

2．工作业绩：

① 教学方面：所任教班级一直居备课组前。其中年二次ec和劳绩评估居全校第一，三次居全年级第二名，二次获xx市教学质量一等奖。

并在年，高考评估居枝江一中文科组第一名。参加xx市优质课竞赛一等奖，校首届说话二等奖，第二届青兰杯上课一等奖。

简单的说，十二个字：“组织协调，当好参谋，做好服务”教务工作细小繁杂，几乎每天都“重复着昨天的故事”。然而教学是学校的中心工作，因而教务工作这便显的尤为重要，一但教学工作某环节出了问题，就会影响整个学校的正常的教学秩序。1．组织协调指的是：协助主任指导课题组，坐好教师的雪原培训工作，新教师的岗前培训工作，抓好校本培训工作，编排四表：教师分工安排表、课表、时间表、值日值周表，完成教学情况的检查汇总反馈工作。

2．当好参谋指的是：定期召开学生座谈会，及时掌握第一手资料，完成教学的数据的统计工作，及时发现问题，并为班主任提供建设行的意见，成立教学顾问团，试题评价机制，优质课竞赛选拔机制，本校先进教师业绩报告会例会制，开办学生陪优辅差班：为实验班开辟图书馆。实验室绿色通道。高一新生开设礼仪课，学法指导课，心理健康教育课。

3．做好服务指的是：为课题组提供服务，帮助课题组完成资料的收集整理工作，具体地向老师们准备好每一期的教育教学理论学习资料，并督促老师们做好理论笔记，做好各类台帐：如教师资料选用台帐，教师条理台帐，师生获奖台帐，师生请假台帐，教师参加大型教研活动或竞赛活动台帐，集体备课活动台帐，教学常规检查、学生的学籍管理和教师

1．摆正位置当好配角

在工作中，我将尊重主任的核心地位，处处维护主任的威信。多请教、多汇报、多交流、多总结。

要勇于将教育教学的理论应用于实践中，反复修改，不断调整，使先进的教育理论成为生产力，同时教务工作是复杂的，巨细无遗，就必须用大量的时间和精力投身其中，有时付出很多却不见明显的成效，但我有充分的思想准备，我将努力工作，将自己满腔的热情奉献到我所热爱的工作中去。

不容置疑，在各级领导和评委面前，我还只是一个才疏学浅相对的陌生学生，一个夷陵中学的新兵，但是我十分热爱夷陵中学，更热爱我所追求的事业，我想借这次机会让大家认识我，了解我，帮助我，支持我。

大家好！

今天我来竞选英语课代表，这是我梦寐以求的事了，我以前还从未在班上任过职务，这次竞选当课代表，主要是想能为老师和同学们服务，同时也能锻炼自己，以课代表身份来严格要求自己，为同学树立榜样。

我热爱英语学习，上学期我在英语学习上取得了较大的进步，每篇课文都做到了能背和默写，但我还有一些缺点：上课有时开小差、作业有偷懒现象、处理不好玩与学的关系，请大家多监督和帮助我，让我在这一学期更进一步。我也有很多优点：活泼开朗、诚恳善良、集体荣誉感强、乐于助人、尊敬师长、团结同学。

如果我能当上英语课代表，我一定当好老师的助手，为同学们服务好，自觉做学习的模范，带头遵守学校和班级的各项纪律，严格、平等要求自已和班上每一位同学，发挥好课代表的桥梁和纽带作用，增进老师和同学之间的联系，努力构建良好的英语学习氛围，让我们的英语学习更加轻松、愉快，让我们的英语成绩更上一层楼。
