麦子，高粱，玉米，棉花，这些庄稼站在土地上，就好像一些女子落在乡村。她们是红颜也是祸水，随尘烟而逝，随笑谈而成传奇。

田小娥当然是麦子。她有一棵如麦子一样青葱的心，也渴望像麦子一样一生有一回灿烂的金黄。她渴望大风来拥抱她。在广袤的土地上掀起波浪。然后安静的等待被收割，等待和无数麦秸一样堆晒在贫穷的院落，过完一生。

是的，麦子的一生，早已注定。

看那影片的开场，大风吹呀，麦子笑呀！大风吹呀，麦子哭呀！

她哭命运的无常。恨爹娘把她嫁给郭举人，一个有几个老婆的可以做她爷爷的人。没有爱的婚姻是阴暗潮湿的窑洞，她不甘心煎熬到白头。

她把自己融入成熟的麦子中，唯有低头弯腰割麦的黑娃看见了她。她在看到他的一瞬，心儿便如麦子遇到风一样摇摆。

她是别的男人的闲话，却是黑娃的心疼。这注定了他们的纠缠。且不管是一时还是一世。

“好吃不？”“好吃，好吃”。两碗“俺做咧”的面条，暖了他的胃，融了他的心。

干柴烈火的后果是被痛打。坏了名声，好在有命。搀扶着回到他的白鹿原村。

如果白鹿原的族长白嘉轩同意他们入祠堂，如果黑娃的爹鹿三容得下“破鞋”儿媳，如果没有周围人的闲言碎语，他们原本可以安稳的过完一生，像上世纪二三十年代许许多多陕西农民那样贫穷卑微的命运一样。

但这就不是获得茅盾文学奖的《白鹿原》了。那年父亲从图书馆借来了《白鹿原》，我也随便翻开，开篇第一句话颇具诱惑：白嘉轩后来引以豪壮的是一生里娶过七房女人。这让人感觉此书是揭示命运的红与黑，人性的罪与罚。许多情节如今都已模糊，但田小娥这个名字是不会忘记的。

在电影白鹿原中，则以这个名字为主线，其背景是从剪掉辫子的清末民初开始，至1938年日本鬼子的飞机在白鹿原上空轰炸为结尾。其情节以一个女人和几个男人的故事为脉络，演绎那个年代人世间芸芸众生的命运兴衰，彰显着民族历史文化的深刻渊源。

电影中少了原著个别人物和情节，但与田小娥有关联的男人一个都没少。这些男人是白鹿原不可缺少的人物，否则，电影就不能以白鹿原命名了。

白鹿原最有声望的除了白嘉轩便是鹿子霖了。这个内心一直想占有族长这个位置的乡约，始终想借刀杀人。这把刀便是田小娥。

在不知真心还是假意的帮助小娥打听黑娃的消息中，他借着酒劲把小娥按到炕上。如果和黑娃是激情的话，那也是有一见钟情做底。而此刻的小娥唯有保命而屈辱的活着，像麦子一样任人宰割。她的身体是无奈的顺从，而她的眼里是强忍的泪水。

她依计诱惑白孝文。这个看起来斯文老实的男人，其实从见小娥第一眼就喜欢上了她。但他至多有非分之想，不能也不敢轻举妄动。他答应过黑娃要帮助小娥，在用木柱支撑窑洞顶的雨夜，他们终于心甘情愿的在一起。

在饥荒和瘟疫来到，白孝文卖身当兵以保命小娥。然而，鹿三用刀杀了这个“害人的女人”。而她的魂魄也要被刻板无情的白嘉轩镇于塔下。

田小娥，这个原本纯朴可爱的女人，却成为白鹿原最低贱的女人。但同时也是令人同情的女人，她的命运，让人一声叹息。

麦苗，麦子，麦秸。田小娥的一生，女人的一生。
