回顾过去这一个学期的英语教学工作,有收获的喜悦与甘甜,但也有挫折时的彷徨与无奈。为了能够查缺补漏,取人之长补已之短,以利于在今后更好地开展自己的工作,在此对本学年的教学工作作了一点总结。

今年,我任教八年级(1)班(2)班的英语。这两个班的学生的特点就是两极分化严重，每个班仅有几名成绩稍好的学生，其余成绩都较差。特别是二班，上课课堂纪律较差，想学的学生静不下心来学。很多学生觉得学习英语比较枯燥，并且觉得学习英语没有用。究其原因,是学生对英语学习的接触面小,说练机会少 ,使得学生对英语学习常常存在“厌、怕、弃”的不健康的心理。这使我不得不改进教学方法，在教学中努力做到以下几点：

第一、确立学生的主体地位

学生是学习的主体。老师只能让学生自己读书,自己感受事物,自己观察、分析、思考,从而明白任何一个道理和掌握任何一条规律。于是我改变“一言堂”,把课堂还给学生,形成师生交往、积极互动、共同发展的教学过程。

第二、使学生明白学习目的

要学好英语,首先要使学生认识到学这一语言的目的和意义。要学生了解到学习英语是多么重要。只有学生自觉地把自己的理想与命运和现在的学业联系起来,才会对英语学习真正感兴趣,这种兴趣也有可能转为学习英语的动力。所以我的课堂，常常教授学生最简单的句子，并常常运用所学句型造句。

第三、培养英语学习兴趣
