端午节的主要习俗是：吃粽子、赛龙舟、女儿回娘家、比武、击球、荡秋千和吃咸蛋等。

端午节的由来是为了纪念伟大的爱国诗人：屈原。

包粽子的时候，可以包不一样的形状，例如：三角形、圆形、正方形和长方形等。粽子有咸的，有甜的，有花生的等。

赛龙舟是因为飞船能拯救伟大的爱国诗人屈原，另一种是因为怕蛟龙伤害屈原的身体，人们可以驾舟击鼓鸣锣，以驱走蛟龙。每年五月初五，都会有赛龙舟看。

这就是中国的传统节日——端午。我爱端午节!
