　　people are like tea bags—you have to put them in hot water before you know how strong they are." i can still remember the words that dad said to me years ago.

　　when i was young, i used to be very naughty. life then was like a glaball ,shining with bright colours. i had once gone down to the river bank, catching a great many worms and was afterwards punished by mum. i had ever cut the pillow towel into pieces in order to make clothes for my dolls. similarly, i was then blamed seriously. once i even put the hot iron on the floor which immediately burnt a big hole on the carpet. although i had done so many annoying things, my childhood seemed to be rather colourful. however, i had never had a clear definition about myself. but then something happened. it had made a great difference to my life and made who i am now.

　　i had always been afraid of having the intravenous drop in hospital. the first time i was taken to have the drop, i cried for almost half an hour and finally gave off at father's severe scolding. watching the cold needle stabbing into my skin, i cried even more loudly. at that time, i never dared to take a glance at my hand and always needed my mother to stay with me at my side. even if mum had told me many times," honey, there’s nothing to be scared of. just close your eyes and sleep." i would still keep my eyes wide open, watching the liquid flow through the bottle and never slept.

　　nevertheless, things just happened in a casual way. when i caught a high fever again when young, mum had to send for the doctor home to treat me. i was so sick that i became quite drowsy and then slept. when i suddenly woke up in the afternoon, i found the liquid in the bottle had already flown over ,while mum and dad were not around. i yelled, but finally found it was of no use. so i jumped out of the bed and pulled up the tubule. in the nature of things, the blood came out and dropped along the way i went downstairs. things became different at the time i went down alone. i discovered that i could be independent. i was much stronger than i had thought. looking back on the girl who cried all day, i came to understand suddenly that the strong part of the inner myself had been existing all the time. seeing the anxious mum, i revealed a big smile to her. i could see that mum was trying to hold her tears back and scrubbed my blood on the hand. she didn't know that her little girl had stealthily grown up.

　　however, as a person's whole life is concerned, success becomes very complicated. is fortune success? is fame success? is high social status success? no, i don’t think so. i believe success is the realization of people's hopes and ideals.nowadays, in the modern society there are many people who are regarded as the successful. and the most obvious characteristics of them are money, high position and luxurious life. so most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. but the problem is wether it is real success. we all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. if we keep chasing them, where is the end? what will satisfy us at last? therefore, we can see, to get the real success we must need something inside, which is the realization of people's hopes and ideals.

　　different people have different ideas about success; cause people's hopes and ideas vary from one another. but i am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. these are the best treasures. so now i am very proud that i have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. it is my success, cause i raise up to challenge my hope.

　　i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.

　　five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.

　　but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. and so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.

　　in a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."

　　闷热烦躁的夏季，枝头的蝉在不知好歹地苟延残喘着，妈妈那熟悉枯燥而又让人厌烦的唠叨声，仍然是依旧不变：“好好看书去。。。有风。。。不能穿的太薄。。。”我感到窒息。“关你什么事，讨厌。。。”我甩门而去。死寂般的沉静，让我感到格外的轻松。而沉重的关门声还在死死地扪着我的耳膜，又让我感到一种莫明的烦闷与心痛。

　　在同学家我玩得很晚。路灯拉长了我微胖的身影，显得那么孤单。在路灯的周围，许多不知名的虫子和蛾子杂乱无章地飞舞着，给本来就很烦躁的夏季增添了更多的苦恼。

　　“妈妈在干什么?她还在生我的气吗?。。。”我不由自主得加快了回家的路。我打开了门，屋里一片昏暗。我依稀看到沙发上妈妈蜷缩的身影以及从妈妈身上滑落下来的毛衣。我轻轻走过去，慢慢地捧起那件熟悉的毛衣，这不是妈妈时常熬夜并不断给我量身的那件红色毛衣吗?我顿时无语不尽潸然泪下。妈妈啊!现在还是夏天啊!我轻轻地捡起掉在地上的那根长长的针，慢慢举过头顶，在窗外余光的照射下发出熠熠的光，显得格外刺眼，像一支利剑刺破炎热的夏夜刺破我幼稚的心。我不由自主地转过身，餐桌上是妈妈已经准备好的饭菜。在我常坐的桌子边上有一锥鱼刺，妈妈吃过饭了?我半信半疑地走了过去，在其中一个盘子里，是全部被抽出刺得鱼肉。我顿时惊呆了，这就是妈妈的依旧不变。泪水顺着我的脸颊打在毛衣上，将手染成了暗红色，滴在地板上，溅起了深褐色的花。

　　此刻，妈妈的眉头轻锁着，锁出一道忧伤，一道沧桑，与一道道善良和美丽的沟壑。我轻轻地抚平妈妈轻锁的眉心，抚平妈妈睡梦中的委屈和不安。妈!对不起!我转过脸，透过朦胧的视线，窗外的一排排灯在夜色中开放着晶莹的花，照亮着行走的人们，照亮着我的人生，我未来的路。那是永不熄灭的灯，为了我的爱，永不熄灭。

　　当我每次面临抉择的时候，我的一句名言总在我的脑海里浮现：道德只是个简单的是与非的问题，实践起来却很难。

　　四年级的期末考试时，我正细心的做着，突然有两道题不会做了，我先把那道题隔了过去，做其他的题，可其他的题都做完了，那道题还是不会做。我像热锅上的蚂蚁，我急哭了，这两道题加起来可是六分啊!完了，考一百分的希望破灭了。正当我着急时，想到了一个失去道德的办法：抄。在我心里，仿佛两个人在劝我。小恶魔说：“抄吧，抄了就可以得一百分了。”小天使对我说：“不能抄，抄了虽然能得一百分，但同时道德也丢失了啊!值得吗?”我环顾了一下四周，又看了看大家的表情，大家很高兴。正在细心检查。可我呢 ?这两道题怎么办呢?后来，我做出了果断的选择：不抄。我又拍了拍自己的脑袋，提醒自己不要炒。“叮铃铃，叮铃铃。”下课铃响了，我依依不舍的把还没来的及写完的卷纸交给了监考老师。这次考试我虽然得了93分，但这是诚实的93分，没有欺骗，没有抄写别人的卷纸。

　　道德只是个简单的是与非的问题，实践起来却很难。他将它将永远铭记在我的心里。

　　在初一初二时老是有人问我：你的理想是什么或者你长大想要干什么，我总是睁着茫然的眼睛摇摇头，然后他们就语重心长地跟我说”你怎么能没有理想呢?这么大了，总有自己的思想吧，没有一个目标哪会有信念，没有信念哪来的动力呢”我每次都浑浑噩噩地点点头;直到现在才知道原来信念是多么重要，她能让我们前进的动力更大因为信念仿佛是心中的信仰，让我们的心有一个坚强的后盾，让我们更加坚定不移的向目标前进。

　　不忘初心，坚持不懈

　　再坚定自己的信念如果不坚持也只是幻想。梦想离我们是遥远的。初一的时候我成绩还不错，可是我这个人比较懒散，总是不能坚持，喜新厌旧，对我自己感兴趣的事会干劲很足，对我自己不感兴趣的事就两三下完事，还有一种就是凭新鲜感做事，有些事情刚开始我兴趣会特别大但是可能过个几个月我就会失去兴趣，中途放弃。比如学习钢琴，刚开始学的时候我天天练天天练而且弹琴的时候身心会特别舒畅，但是学了两三个月后我就开始逃避钢琴课，每次上课都愁眉苦脸，手机给老师的备注都是“烦人老师”。到了最后，我的钢琴就荒废了上面蒙了一层灰。现在想起来真是放弃了一门特长啊!所以说心中不仅要有理想有目标，还要朝着那个方向不断前进，坚持不懈才能达到梦想的彼岸。

　　不忘初心，脚踏实地

　　在追逐梦想的途中，难免会浮躁，浮躁会像苍蝇一样缠着你，但你千万不能被他干扰，妄想一步登天，而要将路一步一步走好否则会一个“健步”就掉下了悬崖。如果只是心中有想法而行动上慢半拍，那就只是好高骛远而不是有梦想。我有一个小学同学，她非常心中的目标非常高，但总是好想懒做。她总是跟我们说她以后要考品牌大学，但是事实上她总是不把学习当回事，整天游手好闲，上课老是跟别人打闹，成绩自然不好。我当时就在想：就她这样下去别说考大学了，考高中都有困难。果不其然，这个女孩毕业考试考得特别差。这难道不是好高骛远吗?你看，如果你保持一颗浮躁的心，心中有宏伟的理想却不脚踏实地地去努力整日活在浮躁中，那梦想也只是梦想永远在远方，不会成为现实。

　　我们都一样，都是心中有理想的追梦人，一起向着那闪耀的光芒不断奔跑，但在奔跑过程中只有睁开你的眼睛勿忘初心才能找到那条通向光明的道路;只有心存信念勿忘初心才能不中途放弃，有一路动力;只有坚持不懈勿忘初心才能直奔梦想;只有脚踏实地勿忘初心才能安心的走到那个光明的世界。不忘初心，一切从现在开始。
