英国女王圣诞致辞全文InthispastyearmyfamilyandIhavebeeninspiredbythecourageandhopewehaveseeninsomanywaysinBritain,intheCommonwealthandaroundtheworld.Weveseenthatitsinhardshipthatweoftenfindstrengthfromourfamilies;itsinadversitythatnewfriendshipsaresometimesformed;anditsinacrisisthatcommunitiesbreakdownbarriersandbindtogethertohelponeanother.Families,friendsandcommunitiesoftenfindasourceofcouragerisingupfromwithin.Indeed,sadly,itseemsthatitistragedythatoftendrawsoutthemostandthebestfromthehumanspirit.WhenPrincePhilipandIvisitedAustraliathisyearwesawforourselvestheeffectsofnaturaldisasterinsomeoftheareasdevastatedbyfloods,whereinJanuarysomanypeoplelosttheirlivesandtheirlivelihoods.Weweremovedbythewayfamiliesandlocalcommunitiesheldtogethertosupporteachother.Princeoftenfindasourceofcouragerisingupfromwithin.Indeed,sadly,itseemsthatitistragedythatoftendrawsoutthemostandthebestfromthehumanspirit.WhenPrincePhilipandIvisitedAustraliathisyearwesawforourselvestheeffectsofnaturaldisasterinsomeoftheareasdevastatedbyfloods,whereinJanuarysomanypeoplelosttheirlivesandtheirlivelihoods.Weweremovedbythewayfamiliesandlocalcommunitiesheldtogethertosupporteachother.PrinceWilliamtravelledtoNewZealandandAustraliaintheaftermathofearthquakes,cyclonesandfloodsandsawhowcommunitiesroseuptorescuetheinjured,comfortthebereavedandrebuildthecitiesandtownsdevastatedbynature.ThePrinceofWalesalsosawfirsthandtheremarkableresilienceofthehumanspiritaftertragedystruckinaWelshminingcommunity,andhowcommunitiescanworktogethertosupporttheirneighbors.Thispastyearhasalsoseensomememorableandhistoricvisits–toIrelandandfromAmerica.Thespiritoffriendshipsoevidentinboththesenationscanfillusallwithhope.Relationshipsthatyearsagowereoncesostrainedhavethroughsorrowandforgivenessblossomedintolongtermfriendship.Itisthroughthislensofhistorythatweshouldviewtheconflictsoftoday,andsogiveushopefortomorrow.Ofcourse,familydoesnotnecessarilymeanbloodrelativesbutoftenadescriptionofacommunity,organizationornation.TheCommonwealthisafamilyof53nations,allwithacommonbond,sharedbeliefs,mutualvaluesandgoals.ItisthiswhichmakestheCommonwealthafamilyofpeopleinthetruestsense,ateasewitheachother,enjoyingitssharedhistoryandreadyandwillingtosupportitsmembersinthedirestofcircumstances.Theyhavealwayslookedtothefuture,withasenseofcamaraderie,warmthandmutualrespectwhilestillmaintainingtheirindividualism.Theimportanceoffamilyhas,ofcourse,comehometoPrincePhilipandmepersonallythisyearwiththemarriagesoftwoofourgrandchildren,eachintheirownwayacelebrationoftheGod-givenlovethatbindsafamilytogether.FormanythisChristmaswillnotbeeasy.Withourarmedforcesdeployedaroundtheworld,thousandsofservicefamiliesfaceChristmaswithouttheirlovedonesathome.Thebereavedandthelonelywillfinditespeciallyhard.And,asweallknow,theworldisgoingthroughdifficulttimes.AllthiswillaffectourcelebrationofthisgreatChristianfestival.FindinghopeinadversityisoneofthethemesofChristmas.Jesuswasbornintoaworldfulloffear.Theangelscametofrightenedshepherdswithhopeintheirvoices:Fearnot,theyurged,webringyoutidingsofgreatjoy,whichshallbetoallpeople.ForuntoyouisbornthisdayintheCityofDavidaSaviourwhoisChristtheLord.Althoughwearecapableofgreatactsofkindness,historyteachesusthatwesometimesneedsavingfromourselves–fromourrecklessnessorourgreed.Godsentintotheworldauniqueperson–neitheraphilosophernorageneral(importantthoughtheyare)–butaSaviour,withthepowertoforgive.ForgivenessliesattheheartoftheChristianfaith.Itcanhealbrokenfamilies,itcanrestorefriendshipsanditcanreconciledividedcommunities.ItisinforgivenessthatwefeelthepowerofGodslove.Inthelastverseofthisbeautifulcarol,OLittleTownofBethlehem,theresaprayer:OHolyChildofBethlehemDescendtousweprayCastoutoursinAndenterinBeborninustodayItismyprayerthatonthisChristmasdaywemightallfindroominourlivesforthemessageoftheangelsandfortheloveofGodthroughChristourLord.IwishyouallaveryhappyChristmas.
